You have to quit your job first then start training.

Oh my! 20+ days to train for something! Do people actually bother to stick around for that long of a wait?

It's crazy I have to quit my $50 a day Baker job (with no severence pay ) then pay $850 to train for eight days with no money coming in (only what my boyfriend gives me ) to become a Hairdresser that only pays $20 more a day than the Baker job. You wouldn't even consider doing it in real life.

I know sometimes you think it would be easier to stick with the bakers job but you have to do it to level up, and I have to wait 12 days to become a secutary (but I only have 5 days of training left, then in 2 levels time I have to quit and wait 20 days while I train to be a nurse. I probably won't even wait till then as soon as I level up I am quitting and training to be a nurse so I don't have to wait around as long.

you should have saved until you could afford the new job then a little bit more...keep trying until you can save to buy the baker job back again and once you can train again then save up

i'm currently in training to be a hairdresser at least I think I am. I have quit the baker job. and it says that I'm in training. However, it never took money from me. Also, I thought that when I was in training for the baker job that it would tell me how many days I have left. Am I right? I don't have anything like that for this time around so I'm not convinced that it's working.

under where it says your in training is how many days you have..its like 7 to 10...how many days have you been doing this....id wait like twelve days from the day you started training then if nothing happens try quitting and try again

How do I quit my job????? I'm only on level 1 and I have tried to access baker training. It keeps telling me I'm already training but I've been training now for 12 days and nothing is happening. According to my statistics I'm not working. Help me before I throw my laptop out of the window.
ok...go to the city and then jobs...in there it should show your job if you have one...if you dont make sure you have enough money then hit begin training and wait for the training to end...if you do hit quit my job under where it says your job is....then select the other job you need....hope this helps...if it dosnt pm me and ill explain
It doesnt say quit my job anywhere. All I have is a picture of a loaf of bread and thats it!! It keeps telling me I'm still training after 15 days now.

The days meant for training is that real life time or gametime?

I just reached level 8. One of my goals says that I want to train to be a hairdresser and that Toni & Guy will be recruiting me soon. Am I supposed to wait for something, or can I just go ahead, quit my current job and start training to be a hairdresser?

You have to quit your current job and start training. Once you complete the hairdresser training, your goal will become green

Is there anyway to skip a day? I have one day left and I want to level up.

Anyone else think it's odd that the TV Reporter Job is above the Architect? In real life- the latter requires much more IQ...perhaps it doesn't make more money...but it's much more difficult...

no, there's no way to skip a day. hang in there and wait it out! lots of these goals are really just a waiting game
