As we promised...

In the past, several people have thought about making a newsletter of sorts. Towards the end of last year, Daisy and kaster did one:

Last year I suggested something of the sort as well. And earlier this year it was suggested in the ideas forum by G-licious:

After seeing that there are people who 1. would like to see something of the sort happen on Miss Bimbo, followed by 2. lots of people who are willing to help, I made a thread here asking who would be willing to work on this project of sorts:

So now, Maebelyne and I are actively working on the newsletter, and we would like to know who would be willing to help us. As promised, we would have a list of things that we would need to get done.

I. Arts

We would like people (with their permission, of course) to submit original short stories, poems, and artwork that relates to Miss Bimbo. We don't want to see plagiarized work (that's including using actual Miss Bimbo's dolls and graphics as well).

II. Health and Wellness

We would like to do each of the following each week:
- Beauty advice
- Relationship advice
- Diet and fitness

So we would like a Q&A submission for each category. I will have to say that the people submitting answers will have to be at least 18 years of age (doesn't feel right for people who are younger than that to be advising, unless we do an under 18 section).

III. Fashion

Since Miss Bimbo is about fashion, we would like to have things such as:

-discussing fashion trends (e.g. Japanese Lolita) and to address questions as what is it, how did it start,who wears it (and how is it worn if relevant), and how is the fashion trend perceived by others.

- building an outfit on Miss Bimbo around a basic item (e.g. blue jeans). I have noticed people who are on a low budget have a difficult time trying to figure out what to buy to create different outfits.

IV. Travel

With so many nationalities, I figure that it would be cool if we learned more about where people are from. So, where are you from? What do you do for fun there? What is the national language? etc, as well as other information that you would like people to know about your city and country. Please don't put any details that would identify you (e.g. what your school, home, or place of work looks like or is located).

V. Game

One of the most important things I would think we would need is a game FAQ of the week. So I would need people to submit both questions and answers to common questions.

To create new content, I would like to interview people as well. But first I need interviewers. So for anyone who would like to be an interviewer, your try out assignment would be to come up with 10 questions that you would like Maebelyne and I to answer about ourselves.

For all of the graphical artists out there, we would like to design a badge of some sort to show that someone has won something (like a general badge), and the size should be something similar of a signature graphic. We want to do contests as well, and since we can't give out BD nor BC, this is the next best thing.

Also, let me know if you have Facebook AND know about the Miss Bimbo group on there. I may need you for something.

The newsletter will only be as good as the people who choose to participate in it. If we get lots of feedback and help, I would imagine it would work out well.  And if enough people show interest, we will talk to the moderators to see if we could make this a bit more permanent (e.g. making the newsletter a sticky or even making a separate site for posting it).

If you have any questions or suggestions about what can go in the newsletter, you can post them in the thread. If you would like to submit something, just post here saying what you will submit, and whom you will send it to (either me or Maebelyne).
