i have a question about the market... how long does it take to receive your BD once you've sold something in the market?  does it show up immediately, like the games, or do you need to wait awhile to see the gain?

your supposed to get it as soon as you sell the item
but i think there has been a bug with the market these past few weeks

just a couple of things..

with getting a boyfriend, and breaking up with a boyfriend - it most definitely helps to be living in an apartment and not with your parents when you look for a boyfriend.  and leaving your apartment to live with your parents helps when you want to break up.  i used to have major issues with this until i tried the apartment thing.

another thing that makes the bimbos happiness decrease is feeding her vegetables.  i know a lot of people feed water and veggies because they help with weight and take off a lot of hunger and thirst.. but the veggies make her lose happiness for whatever reason.

and the pets healthy weight.. i dont know about the dog on here but the kittens ideal weight is around 5 lbs.

this is a good idea but i doubt that its going to stop the multiple threads asking the same questions.  people still start tons of new threads with questions about things found in the original faq.

Can I be honest? I was laughing my whole way through it! I have no idea how much 'noobies' hate me now because there is always a *sigh* in one of my replies with the answers LOL

Wouldn't *you* lose happiness if you ate nothing but vegetables? Not even an occasional strawberry? I bet that was the rationale. lol

I've been keeping my cat heavier than 5 pounds because converting the kilograms in the French game (where they *tell* you what the ideal weight is - thank you very much) to pounds in this game suggests 7.7 pounds is right. Do you remember where the 5 pound figure came from? My kitty thanks you if I've been overstuffing him and will lay off!

Great topic. Thanks for putting it together.

Two suggestions:
1. About BD/BA - maybe clarification that not only can you WIN these on a staked challenge, but the challenge loser will LOSE. It's not a freebie loss - there's skin in the game when it's staked.
2. Maybe something about tropical tan to accompany/follow your scouring section. It might help players know that they will have 2 (and ONLY 2 - don't go darker) tanning sessions after completing the scouring goal in order to achieve the tropic tan goal.

Level 8 is the "ghost" scour, and the tropical tan is level 10.

Great thread, you did a lot of work putting it all together but these people asking the SAME OLD questions obviously do not read the forum in order to read this. If they read the forum they wouldn't continually be asking how to achieve the scouring goal etc. It was very nice that you did this but the people reading the forum, for the most part, already know this...lol.

I third the sticky solution, this is helpful.  You might want to add links to the various challenge threads, too.  The answer to the severance pay question is that it comes off the cost of your next training, or at least it's supposed to.  For example, if your next training costs $2000 to do but you've been at your job awhile only 1000 BD might be deducted.  It happened when I did my nurse training, but I forgot exactly how much it was.
