AAAHHH!!! Not the idea!   You misunderstand me I think. The idea is to be able to level up our pets in some way (even if they level up when we do) so that we are able to get a new pet. (if we so choose) There are many players that I've heard are sick of their pet, or would simply like a different one. If they are able to level up, then at their top level, they can die (or go to heaven, if that's nicer) That way, if the player doesn't want their bimbo to have a pet anymore, they don't have to have one. Or if they'd like a new one, they can buy one.

I do not want a virtual pet site. That is the last thing I would want MissBimbo to be. --Hopefully this clears things up a bit.

This is EXACTLY my point! Very well said.  At the moment, it would be enough for me to feed and clean my pet. So I don't own one, because I know I can't get rid of it once I get one.

Now, if the pets were to level up as we did (even if we didn't have to do anything TO them except take care of them), and when they reached, say level 20 (for example) they "went to heaven", then we could either get a new pet, if we wanted, or we wouldn't have to have a pet any longer. There could even be a button, like there is when our bimbos level up. It could say something like --"your pet has reached level 20. Level up?" And if we press the button to level up, then our pet "goes to heaven". If we don't press it, then we can keep our pet.

--Just trying to come up with a good solution for those of us who have Bimbos who no longer want their pet. Or who don't want to be stuck with the same one forever.

I repeat, I do NOT want a virtual pet site. That would totally take the game in a direction it was never meant to go.

No I understand you completely.

Working on you pet, level it up, working towards new pets in this way just makes it a pet focused site, which is what a virtual pet site is. Currently they are just a cute small additional feature to help out your bimbo and give her more character, it is still very focused on the point of the site.

That focus should not be changed. There is no need for it at all.

The idea that a pet dies if you get it to the top level is actually quite sick to be honest with you, you are aiming to kill it which is defiantly not something the site should be encouraging or even considering.

The idea that you should be able to just get rid of the responsibility of having a pet is one that has come up before and one I am totally against. Having a bit of responsibility for your actions is a GOOD thing. Having to make choices that will effect you down the line is part of what makes the game fun, a challenge, and makes the bimbos on here different from one another. That should not be taken away.

You still misunderstand me. But that's ok.

This is a game it is not supposed to be overly realistic. You said you could level up your pet in order to kill it with out any effect to your bimbo.

Leaving it means you loose 15% of your BA which is a good sacrifice if you have decided you no longer want to take on the responsibility you signed up for. Your way you are getting rid of that resposibility with no ill effects and personally I think that is incredibly wrong.

Also pets are a long term responsibility in reality a dog can live 18 years, so if you really want it to be realistic how about it automatically passes away after that amount of time?

or like a year? or two?
in games, time can shorten sometimes.

good idea.  I think that watching your kitty or puppy grow would be a good idea,  and the care that you give it directly reflects on you.  They can get grungy if you d not take care of them  or you can get extra BA if you feed and groom them well etc.

Great ideas, everyone!  Hopefully, if we all work together and keep brainstorming, we can come up with something that the mods will take notice of and implement into missbimbo!

It's a great idea, but I think it would be too much because right now, we got a Bimbo to take care of, and we have a lot of levels to complete!
