Its easy.
First,
Seperate the peices. Move all the pretty ones on the pretty side, then move all the ugly ones on the ugly side.
I usually start with the pretty one. To get the head, move the peices so that the left part of the head is on the right side and the right side is right underneith it. Move the peice thats where the left one is down and move the rest in the proper slots.
Repeat that techniqe until you get stuck where that doesnt work. Just try mixing up the peices for a minute and eventually youll get it.

regarding the hard puzzle always start at the top because the botom only has 3 pieces and its hard to jiggle pieces about when u dont have enough space for them
