THE PAINT TUTORIAL :)

PAINT TUTORIAL smile

So, this is a little tutorial for all those who work with paint, i hope ther will be things that could help you even if you think you know how it works. I'm not an expert, but i see that there are many people who have problems with resizeing their sigs etc...

1) Opening images- right click on picture and than edit
                              - opening paint- file-open (to open just 1 image)
                              - opening paint- edit- paste from (to insert multiple images)
2) Resizing a whole image- image- strech/skew
- image- attributes (to choose your image size in inches, cm, pixels,                     or make it black and white)
http://img28.picoodle.com/data/img28/3/9/1/f_1m_6918648.png

3) Flipping, rotating, inverting colours- also in the image tab
4) Croping a picture or cutting out parts of it- look at pictures

http://img29.picoodle.com/data/img29/3/9/1/f_2m_68f1e7c.png

http://img113.imageshack.us/img113/7129/52535187ls1.png

http://img353.imageshack.us/img353/530/25352197oo5.png

http://img152.imageshack.us/img152/205/61684696sb7.png

http://img33.picoodle.com/data/img33/3/9/1/f_6m_8618129.png

Ok, that's just for one picture, if you want to put more pictures in one, than here is an easy way to do that

1) Open one image that is your background (or without background just open paint)
2) Strech/skew, rotate, flip if you want
3) Click on edit- paste from and than choose a picture
4) You can also strech/skew, rotate etc.this picture, but only when it's marked (this means when you clicked paste, and you didn't click any other tool after that)- look at picture
5) We can now insert more and more pictures, or copy the old ones (right click on MARKED picture (this is important) and then paste click anywhere in the picture (or, if you want to make it faster, click ctrl+c for copy, ctrl+v for paste, crtl+x for cut)
6) Now we have a picture with more fliped, resized, pictures

http://img32.picoodle.com/data/img32/3/9/1/f_8m_0452244.png

http://img380.imageshack.us/img380/2412/22279510ok7.png

http://img37.picoodle.com/data/img37/3/9/1/f_10m_94ab55a.png

http://img413.imageshack.us/img413/5738/11nq6.png
http://img29.picoodle.com/data/img29/3/9/1/f_12m_cf9dddc.png

http://img388.imageshack.us/img388/5003/13jh4.png

7) if you want to add a text into your picture –click on text toolbox. There you can also choose white text background or invisible
8) if you want to move your text to another part of the picture just use the select tool (the quadrat on the top of the color box and move it...see picture

http://img29.picoodle.com/data/img29/3/9/1/f_139m_763ff6a.png

http://img79.imageshack.us/img79/419/14cf0.png

http://img32.picoodle.com/data/img32/3/9/1/f_15m_6f6d905.png

Ok,i know that this picture looks not so good, but on a white background it's more easy to cut out parts, move text,....

9) if the text toolbox or color toolbox dissapears, just click on view- and than mark- toolbox, test box or whatever smile

10) If your text runs down in to the next line (like this), then you can just move the arrows left or right, wherever to make it fit into one line
11) you can also copy and paste your text, move it up and down and make a whole picture made of text...
12) save your picture- you can choose between gif, jpg, bmp, bmp monchrome etc..if you want to steal the colour from your painting –use bmp monochrome (it will warn you before you do that), if you want to use your picture for a sig or a contest, then it's the best to use bmp, jpg  gives the picture a little blur effect, but i think that some pictures can be saved just in jpg (paint tell you if this happens)

Another, maybe shorter way to insert many pictures, but resizing them before:
1) Open paint
2) Go to my computer and choose there some nice pictures, click one every picture- right click and then –edit- (every picture will be opened in a new paint window)
3) Edit every picutre in his paint window (or not, like you want)
4)  Use the select or free-form-select tool (the star and the quadrat), cut you pictures or parts from your picutres out and then paste them to the original-big-picture smile

http://img79.imageshack.us/img79/5716/16vu4.png

http://img33.picoodle.com/data/img33/3/9/1/f_17m_a5427cc.png

http://img176.imageshack.us/img176/6692/18or2.png

Some tips if  you use this- you can't paste a picture if you're in text tool!!

UPLOADINGD pictures:
1) search on google for –image hosting- or go to www.imageshack.com, www.picoodle.com ....etc...

Hmmm...i don't know id now everything is explained, but ,,,i hope so...
You can also resize your picture in a photoshop or irfan view (a simple small program with some cute functions smile )

The world is truly going to love you now.
I know all of the above stuff but it sure do wasnt easy to figure out that paint could do that much.

Later on i learned that a guy made a minigame using paint to to the graphics. And that it looked good.

uaaau smile the most cartoonish thing that i've made in paint was my own cartoon, very stupid, simple..all you have to do is fast clicking the right arrow when you look the pictures smile but it was fun

Re: THE PAINT TUTORIAL :)

there is a program called "GiFFy"
that turns Bitmap files into Gif format, it shrinks the file size greatly

the only downside (if you can call it that) is a slight subtraction in color
its not hugely noticeable.

"Photobucket"
has an editor program, that will shrink your pictures down based on the dimensions.

@joeypunklove
@bubuheartzallie

you two have to be more Clear as to what your problem is.
and show Examples if you can.

to stretch out the Bitmaps Drawing space
you have to move your Mouse Pointer to this little square
and stretch

can you print screen it maybe?? what picture do you save? is there a whole white square or just right and down? if it's just right and down, then you have to strech (to make it smaller) with the arrow on the right bottom corner,., but if it's arroune the whole image? hmm...print screen please

do you mean this??

you just have to strech your picture with the arrow in the right bottom corner like on the picture and then don't save (or save if you want) the epmty file..the next time it should be bigger...you can also go to menu -image-atriubutes and then write your dimensions ..or just strech/skew in the same image-menu.

Re: THE PAINT TUTORIAL :)

Here's some of my tips:
If you've cut out a picture and you want to double or half its size but you want the proportions to stay the same you can hold in Ctrl and then either press + or - at your numpad. Also to make brushes bigger or smaller, click on the brush or line button and again press Ctrl + or -
I hope that made sense.

Re: THE PAINT TUTORIAL :)

You didn't show the little Inverting the color trick.
: (
You can either go to (image--invert colors) or just hit ctrl I
and then you can ask use the selecting tool and pick what area's you invert, letting you make things like this.

Re: THE PAINT TUTORIAL :)

And one way to avoid the white parts of the image being cut as well as the white background...is to change the background to a different color and making the right click color to the color you made the background, (removing only that color from the image, soooo it's best to pick acolor you know isn't in the bimbo's outfit!)

and here are some of the werid effects when doing things with that tool!

http://photo.missbimbo.com/1/50/moy/39580.jpg

This is with my signature, and haveing the right click color white and putting the image with the invisable tool on a dark red background.

(next I'll show you with the right click color being black)

http://photo.missbimbo.com/1/50/moy/39582.jpg

See, with the right click color being black and the invisable tool on (nickname lol sorry) it makes all the black in the image invisable! and theres alot of black in my signature, so it looks creepy when it disappears!

Re: THE PAINT TUTORIAL :)

:O

I know more tricks to Paint...
Like useing the Eraser (while making the right click color...say blue and the left click color red) you can hold right click down instead of Left click and color in (useing the eraser) all red in the image to blue, and won't effect any of colors!
