Getting pictures for your background

This is the guide to the new profiles
At first it was just a guide for getting the background, but there are other things to it aswell

To get your own background for the new profiles:

Go on your profile, and at the bottom, just above the comments, their will be an 'edit my profile' link. click on this link
and click on, 'customise'

if you want your own background click 'URL'


this will come up with a box where you have to enter the URL


Go to www.imageshack.us
find your photo by using the 'browse' button and then upload it by clicking on 'host it!'
Once it's been uploaded, you should come up with this:


You need to copy 'thumbnail forforums (1)'
and paste it into the URL box

just click on 'My photo'

and chose from your list

Or

you can use on the the ready made backgrounds by clicking on one of these


To veiw what they look like, you just have to click on it once.

For additional edditing:
To put an extra icon next to your name and your pets name,
go to edit my profile, 'customise,' and at the bottom of the  'customise' box, there is a section called ICON


To use your own one, click on URL and do the same as you've done for the background,
OR
upload a picture into 'My Photo's'
and use a picture from there
OR
use one that is allready in the list by clicking on 'choose'

As an example I'm going to use this picture

it has to be small becasue the icon will be small
(100x100)max.

I'd noticed a lot of people asking about the new profiles so i thought i'd post it
